Challenge to voters

• I WOULD urge tenants and leaseholders to back independent candidates planning to stand in the local elections (Revenge of the tenants looming, February 26).
Direct action is the only way to achieve any change in Islington. So don’t just moan, act and stick your head above the parapet and be counted. Vote independent.
I look forward to assisting Dr Brian Potter, tenants’ and leaseholders’ chairman, in his election campaign and I appeal to others to do likewise.
Remember the words of John Milton: “Give me the liberty to know, to utter and to argue freely according to conscience, above all liberties.”
