• IT seems there have been articles recently in the Tribune outlining how busy the police are and how they have no time to enforce the law.
Last week, it was the 20mph speed limit (probably because it is rarely observed by anyone, police included).
The other week, it was the man who had to track down his stolen bicycle.
Even when he located it advertised on Gumtree, the police refused to accompany him to recover it.
It seems they are never too busy to issue a traffic ticket for a parking violation.
In one case, it took 12 officers the best part of half an hour to move a Beetle.
Well, it was a sunny Sunday afternoon.
