• IN The Natural Death Handbook, a nurse, Susan Morris, is recommending people throw “will parties” aimed at making death “more straightforward and open”.
This year, in fits and bursts, I’ve been thinking about my funeral. I have even thought of a “will party” similar to that which Ms Morris describes.
I have met some funeral organisations but it’s difficult to get experienced help unless you contract with them.
I want it the other way round – to listen to as many different suggestions as possible then choose to contract with the one that “feels” right.
I must believe they will go along with me and be confident they will make my funeral as relaxed as I would like.
