Waiting for your help

Published: 3 February, 2012

• Thanks to the Tribune’s support, more and more of our refugee students enjoy three hours a fortnight with a volunteer mentor, giving them a chance to practise their English.

However, other students are still waiting.

If you could give three hours a fortnight to a refugee, call us on 07941 300 766 and come to an informal session to see if you would like to volunteer, at our centre at 18 Cross Street, Islington.

We also need a volunteer to help with bookkeeping for four hours a week, and with the website for two hours a week.

And finally we need help with transferring rubbish to the recycling centre. Volunteers with a car or a van would be especially welcome. We await your call....
