• THE housing problem can’t be separated from immigration.
While there are immigrants in large numbers, Islington could build housing on every available piece of land and still wouldn’t solve the problem.
Immigrants don’t cause homelessness, but they make an already bad situation worse.
Also, it does nothing to solve the problems in their own countries if we keep taking more people in.
If Britain needs more skilled workers, we should be training people already living here.
Too many people are still confusing immigration with racism.
There should be no discrimination because of a person’s skin colour or where they were born but where immigration is concerned, it needs to be strictly controlled.
