Good riddance to the anti-social Church

Letter to the Editor

• I would like to ask Eileen Hillan who wrote so fondly (The Church followers come from far and wide, December 3) of her experiences of the Church [a weekly party event at the Forum in Kentish Town], the following questions:
Has she ever had her legs splashed after opening her front door to find a drunken man relieving himself against it? Has she ever been thumped in the face by an inebriated Church goer (subsequently prosecuted, found guilty and fined) after requesting he stop urinating against her home?
Has she ever had to replace the carpets in her hall after a Church-goer relieved himself through her letterbox?
Has she ever returned home to find six young men trespassing in her front garden who then shout aggressive abuse after being politely requested to stop urinating against the front of her home?
I don’t suppose so. Her description of the Church bears no relation to the reality for those of us who live on its doorstep. (All of the above have taken place on Leverton Street within the last year.)
We’re not sorry they have finally gone. Good riddance.

Leverton Street, NW5
