A shot in the dark - Snow on the market

Victorian clock tower and the Market Road estate in Holloway

THIS eerily atmospheric snowbound photograph of the Victorian clock tower and the Market Road estate in Holloway was taken by David Kelly, a local resident.

Taken from his window at midnight on Tuesday using a slow exposure, the sky is tinted yellow to match the lights. The foreground shows the construction equipment involved in the redevelopment of the estate. Mr Kelly is compiling a collection of unique photographs showing the estate at different stages of the development which he hopes to present in an exhibition.
