A MARATHON runner has raised £1,800 for Holloway charity Centre 404.

Kalpesh Patel, 34, who grew up in Upper Holloway, ran the 26.2 miles of the London Marathon on Sunday.

The centre supports people with learning disabilities and their families, including Kalpesh’s 25-year-old brother Bhavin. “It was an amazing thing to be able to do,” said the City finance worker. His time was 3 hours 48 minutes.
