CHARLES Dickens’ Oliver Twist is being brought to life by young readers in Islington during a month of arts, crafts and reading events.
“Dickens in Islington” is a collection of 22 activities in borough libraries, schools, Islington Museum, Waterstones bookshop, Screen on the Green cinema and at Clerkenwell Kitchen.
It’s all part of “Cityread London”, a month of Oliver Twist-themed free and fun events across the capital to get young people interested in literature and the history of their city.
