THREE women were jailed on Wednesday for a total of 19 years and four months for their part in an arson attack on a Turkish social club in Newington Green.
Dilek Dag, 25, Altin Yadirgi, 28, and Dilan Eroglu, 20 – their addresses are not being released – had pleaded guilty to arson with intent at an earlier hearing.
The judge at Woolwich Crown Court said the petrol bomb attack on the Coffee House of the People Gumushane, in Green Lanes, in December last year was racially and politically motivated.
The court heard the accused supported the militant Kurdish Partiya Karkeren Kurdistan group.
Dag and Yadirgi were jailed for six years and eight months each, and Eroglu for six years.
