Police make arrest in Chrissie Azzopardi case

POLICE investigating the death of Chrissie Azzopardi from Holloway have arrested a man.

The man, aged 27, was arrested on Thursday morning and remains in custody at a north London police station.

Police were called at 12.28hrs on Monday, June 4, after concerns for the welfare of a woman at Wray Crescent, Finsbury  Park.

They found the body of 22-year-old Chrissie Azzopardi, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

A post-mortem examination held on Tuesday 5 June at St Pancras Mortuary did not establish a formal cause of death.

Officers from the Homicide and Serious Crime Command are investigating.
