COMMUNITY choir Vox Holloway, pictured, has performed a classical piece written by Harvey Brough, the founder of 1980s pop band Harvey and the Wallbangers.

Mr Brough, the choir’s patron and composer-in-residence, presented the new work at St Luke’s Church, in Hillmarton Road, Holloway.

Entitled A Particulare Care, it is inspired by Handel’s music and based on a visit by Mr Brough to the Foundling Hospital Museum in Bloomsbury.

The main event was Vivaldi’s Gloria sung by the choir  to raise £10,000 for Home Start Islington and Save the Children’s East Africa Appeal.
