Dvorák´s String Quartets concert will welcome Czech Olympic team

HOLLOWAY’S St Mary Magdalene Church will host a concert of Dvorák´s String Quartets next Saturday, May 11 to celebrate the Czech Olympic team arriving in Islington .

The Martinu Quartet, who will be performing, specialise in Czech chamber music. They  were formed in 1976 by the then students of the Prague Conservatoire, inspired by quartets such as the Vlach and the Smetana.

Admission for the concert, which starts at 7pm, is £10 (£7 concs) on the door.
