SøREN Nielsen, of the Archway-based aerial theatre group Scarabeus, surveys the scene from the top of the 151ft clocktower in Caledonian Park, Barnsbury.

Nielsen is the rigger for the group which is helping peformers scale the face of the tower as the climax of “spectacular” outdoor show Babel, which runs in the park through the week.

The show, which has a cast of 300 and uses state-of-the-art projections, has been put together by the Battersea Arts Centre and Wildworks theatre company.

Babel is at Caledonian Park until May 19. Scarabeus will be opening the new LIFT youth hub in White Lion Street, N1, on May 26 and 27.
