DIRECT, eclectic, beautiful – this is how Jason Yarde and Andrew McCormack describe their sound, honed in celebrated jazz groups for over a decade.

Fresh from the recording studio and collaborating publicly for the first time with special guests the Elysian String Quartet (‘astonishing’ – The New York Times; ‘feisty boundary pushers – The Metro), McCormack and Yarde will premiere material from their third album, due for release in 2013, alongside material from the MY DUO and Places and Other Spaces albums.

With the capital about to go jazz-crazy for London Jazz Festival (9–18 November), this gig with a pre-show bar and jazz-café seating, all in the spellbinding setting of LSO St Luke’s at night, is not to be missed.
