Wenger: Theo was electric

ARSENE Wenger praised "electric" Theo Walcott after the Gunners forward smacked a classy hat-trick against Blackpool. The 21 year-old bagged half of Arsenal's goal in a 6-0 rout against the Premiership newcomers.

Wenger said: "He was more electric today. He is looking sharp. I liked the way he mixed well the final ball and the finishing. What he does is done at pace and it is not easy to make the right decision in the final third like that. Today he got many decisions in the final third right."

He added that his team had shown maturity to push on from a 3-0 half time advantage to double their score.

"We have mature - we didn't become sloppy. We played the way we wanted to play and it became comfortable," said Wenger.
