KARATE kids Luan and Liam Veras have struck again after winning medals at the British Championships in Glasgow
Under the guidance of dad Sensei Raphael Veras, the brothers have become a fierce fighting force on the martial arts circuit.

This time around Luan, 8, and Liam, 6, combined to win bronze in the pairs kata competition. Luan followed-up the success by winning another bronze in the individual under-10s kata.

The duo capped off a memorable outing by joining forces with club-mate Romeo Novruzaj, 10, and snapping-up a silver medal in the 10 and under team fight category.

Leading by example, Sensei Veras, who regularly teaches at venues in Camden and Islington, returned to competition for the first time in three years to win bronze in the 67kg kumite category.

“After concentrating on my students, producing national champions and medalists, it was time to make a comeback,” he said after winning three of his four fights.
