SWIMMERS flying the flag for Camden Swiss Cottage enjoyed a massive medal haul at the weekend at the London Region Age Group Championships at Crystal Palace.

The club collected a total of 20 medals, with young star Olivia Willis (pictured) pocketing eight of them.

The speedy 14-year-old enjoyed a series of scintillating swims, with her two best results earning gold medals in the 100m and 200m backstroke.

She also collected four silvers and two bronze medals.

Team-mate Isobel Moffat was also on fine form collecting silver in the arduous 400m individual medley and bronze in the 100m butterfly.

Silverware was also on the agenda for Indigo Mathews, who emerged victorious in the 400m freestyle.

James Slade continued the impressive run of results as he struck silver in the 100m freestyle while Brendan Comyn showed great strength and endurance in the 200m butterfly also to earn himself a silver medal in a personal-best time.

The awards didn’t end there for Camden with their boys’ 11 to 14 relay team, comprising Slade, Hok Lao Wong, Alex  Panteli and Zachary Streat, sweeping home with two gold medals in the 4x100m and 4x200m freestyle,
and a silver in the 4x100m medley relay.

The girls’ 11-14 relay team of Mathews, Moffat, Willis and Aimee-Rose Nahal also did well to collect bronze in the 4x200m freestyle.
