THERE’S no doubting 2017 is going to be a big hit for karate brothers Luan, Liam and Luca Veras.

After a short winter break, the siblings, who regularly compete in karate, judo, jiu-jitsu and mixed martial arts, are back in their dojo training hard as they look to add more medals to their bulging trophy cabinet. Their father Sensei Raphael Veras said: “The boys are very excited about the coming year and it promises to be a busy one. Among the competitions… are the British Open and the French Karate Championships, while they’ll also be competing in America for the first time when they take part in the US Open in Las Vegas.”
