Witness appeal after death of Holloway Road motorcyclist

POLICE are appealing for witnesses following the death of a motorcyclist on Christmas Day.

The 34-year-old rider – who has not been named by police – collided with a car on Holloway Road, at the junction with Jackson Road, just before 1am. 

He was taken to an east London hospital where he died the following day. Next of kin have been informed, but officers await formal identification and a post-mortem examination.

The driver of the car stopped at the scene. There have been no arrests.

Detectives are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or the events leading up to it, to come forward and assist them with their enquires.
